The use of marquees on your web pages can add a bit of splash and draw attention to a "Must See" item. The following are instructions for using the marquee in blue voda.
1. Top tool bar - INSERT - Choose Marquee - this will now place the marquee on the page.
2. Double click the marquee and you will see where you can input your text.
3. You can change the direction of the marquee, speed, behaviour and repetitions.
4. Choose the style tab for color, background color, font color and size.
5. That's it. You have now added a Marquee on your page.
If you want to insert an image in the Marquee instead of text, there is a simple way that Naval Design brought to our attention.
1. Insert a marquee on your page
2. Insert your image on the page, already resized and made exactly the size
you want it to be.
3. Right click on the image, select HTML. Copy the html code into the
marquee where it says text.
4. Save & publish your page, then delete the image, save your page and
publish it again
If you wanted to apply a link to your marquee, just insert a transparent shape over the entire marquee and link ...
If you wanted your marquee to contain 4 or 5 pics, I would suggest preparing this image before inserting, joining your images together in a photoshop program. It is also recommended to have your image sized and ready before inserting the picture code into your marquee.
